Hi! I’m Kayla (she/her), a full-spectrum doula, registered nurse, and student midwife. I’m professionally trained in the best evidence-based practices to nourish, guide, and support you pre-pregnancy through postpartum, as well as in the processes of menstruation, fertility, and abortion.
I graduated from Pennsylvania State University with a Bachelor of Science in Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies and Psychology. At Penn State, I studied reproductive justice, theorized by women of color, which deepened my belief that birth work is revolutionary.
I recently graduated from Columbia University with a Master of Science in Nursing and am in the Doctoral of Nursing Practice program in Midwifery.
As a doula, registered nurse, and student midwife, my full-spectrum care is wide-ranging and highly tailored. It might be working with you to identify the right birth control or supporting you through the first few months of parenthood.
In addition to doula-ing, I worked in feminist publishing—first, as a writer for the reproductive health platform Allbodies and then led media for Dottir Press
I believe we are the real experts on our bodies and, with sexual health information and practice listening to our bodies, we each have a lot of power to treat and heal ourselves.
